Safety Netting Rope Access
Rope Task were called at short notice to solve the problem of shards of glass falling from a Birmingham high rise building during glazing works.
Rope Task came up with the solution of installing 80m of debris containment nets on the 20 storey building all using specialist rope access and completing the works in one day. This has removed the risk of glass shards falling to the ground in a busy pedestrian area of Birmingham.
Rope access operatives used specialist rigging skills, to install the fall protection systems and ropes that secured the operatives to the 80m elevation of the building during the works. All works have been completed safely, allowing the glazing company to continue with the removal of the glass panels from the building safely.
