Stadium Rope Access
Rope Task have completed the installation of all high level advertising signs at the Premier League football ground of West Bromwich Albion.
On top of the three main stands advertising boards needed to be installed for the new team sponsors, regular access methods were not practicable as only a limited space was available for access between the stand and the playing surface.
Rope Task were called upon to use specialist rope access techniques to access across fragile roofs using pre-installed fall protection systems and also to use industrial abseil techniques to access the upper front elevation of three of the stands.
Old signs had to be safely removed and lowered to the ground and new signs hauled up to the top of the stand and securely fixed. This was all completed using only rope access equipment and the experience of our rope access teamwho have over 20 years experience of complex rope access works and work at height experience.
